Day 01 – Arrival in Samarinda – Kuyung – Muara Muntai
Arrive at Samarinda Airport by morning or noon flight. You will be met by our local guide and driven directly to Kuyung Village, where you’ll board a motorized canoe to cross the mighty Mahakam River towards Muara Muntai Village.
Enjoy scenic views of riverside life — traditional stilt houses, floating fish farms, and local villagers going about their daily routines.
Upon arrival in Muara Muntai, check in at a local homestay built above the river and relax after your river journey.

Day 02 – Muara Muntai – Mancong – Muara Muntai
After breakfast, embark on a fascinating canoe trip to Mancong Village, crossing the serene Jempang Lake — an important wetland habitat rich in birdlife and dotted with fishermen’s floating houses.
Continue through the scenic Ohong River, a narrow waterway surrounded by lush vegetation, where you can often spot proboscis monkeys, monitor lizards, and other wildlife along the riverbanks.
Arrive at Mancong, one of the oldest Dayak Benuaq settlements in East Kalimantan. Explore their traditional longhouse, learn about Dayak craftsmanship and daily life, and immerse yourself in their deep-rooted culture.
Return to Muara Muntai in the afternoon and stay overnight at the homestay.

Day 03 – Muara Muntai – Kuyung – Samarinda
After breakfast, enjoy a morning exploration of Muara Muntai Village, famous for its long ironwood (ulin) bridge that stretches across the entire settlement — a unique architectural feature connecting houses and alleys above the swamp.
Then, continue the adventure toward Pela Village, cruising through Melintang and Semayang Lakes. These tranquil waters are home to the rare Irrawaddy freshwater dolphins, tropical birds, and proboscis monkeys that inhabit the riverside forests.
After the lake excursion, travel to Kota Bangun by boat and continue by car back to Samarinda for your final night at a comfortable hotel.

Day 04 – Samarinda – Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and some free leisure time before your transfer to Samarinda Airport for your next destination.
