Trip Schedule
(1 Day 1 Night)
Day 01: Shared departure from South Bali to Banyuwangi – Bali Strait crossing – Overnight stay
♦ 11.00 – 13.00: Be ready at the designated pick-up area in South Bali, including Sanur, Denpasar, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak / Sunset Road, Kerobokan, Canggu, or Tanah Lot.
♦ 11.00 – 13.00: The shared vehicle will collect participants from the designated Bali areas and begin the journey toward Banyuwangi, East Java.
♦ Continue the overland journey through western Bali toward Gilimanuk Ferry Port, located at the westernmost part of Bali Island.
♦ Cross the Bali Strait by public ferry from Gilimanuk Ferry Port to Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi, East Java. The ferry crossing normally takes approximately 1–1.5 hours, depending on operational conditions.
♦ After arriving at Ketapang Ferry Port, continue the journey by shared land transportation toward Banyuwangi town.
♦Upon arrival in Banyuwangi, the driver will escort you to the designated dormitory accommodation for check-in.
♦ Take some time to rest, enjoy your own activities, and prepare for the overnight departure to Ijen Crater.
♦The Banyuwangi overnight stay is arranged before the Ijen hiking activity, allowing participants to rest before starting the night journey toward Mount Ijen.
Day 02: Overnight Ijen Crater hiking tour – Blue fire opportunity – Sunrise – Return to Bali
♦ 00.00 – 00.30: The shared vehicle will meet you at the Banyuwangi accommodation, with departure scheduled around midnight or no later than approximately 00.30, then continue for about 1 hour toward Paltuding, the main parking and starting area for the Ijen Crater trekking route.
♦ Upon reaching Paltuding, prepare the required equipment and begin the ascent toward Ijen Crater. The uphill hike generally takes around 2–3 hours, depending on individual walking conditions.
♦ After reaching the upper Ijen area, the group may continue toward the crater edge if access is permitted by the Ijen authorities and the conditions are considered safe.
♦ If access is allowed, you may have the opportunity to witness the famous blue fire of Ijen Crater from a closer viewing area.
♦ Continue to enjoy the volcanic scenery around Mount Ijen, including the dramatic rock walls, the green sulfur lake, and the surrounding mountain landscape.
♦ During the visit, you may also observe the daily activities of local sulfur miners carrying heavy loads of sulfur along the steep and challenging mountain paths.
♦ 06.00 – 11.00: After sunrise and time to enjoy the scenery around Mount Ijen, begin the descent toward Paltuding parking area. The downhill journey generally takes around 2.5–3 hours, depending on the walking pace and condition of each participant.
♦After reaching Paltuding, continue by shared vehicle back toward your Banyuwangi accommodation.
♦ Upon returning to the accommodation, you may have breakfast, take a shower, rest, and prepare your belongings before the journey back to Bali.
♦ 11.00 – 13.00: The shared driver will pick you up from the Banyuwangi accommodation and continue toward Ketapang Ferry Port, located at the easternmost part of Java Island.
♦ Cross the Bali Strait by public ferry from Ketapang Ferry Port to Gilimanuk Ferry Port. The ferry crossing generally takes around 1–1.5 hours.
♦ After arriving at Gilimanuk, continue the return journey by shared vehicle toward your designated Bali drop-off area.
♦ The drop-off service may cover areas such as Sanur, Kuta, Legian, Kerobokan, Seminyak, Canggu, or other designated areas according to the shared transportation arrangement.

~ Access to the lower edge of Ijen Crater is subject to terms and conditions. If the local Ijen authorities do not permit access to the lower crater area, participants will remain in the upper area to enjoy the sunrise and panoramic view of the green sulfur lake.
~ The Ijen blue fire activity is conditional. If the weather is unsuitable, you are too tired, or night trekking toward the crater area is not permitted by the Ijen authorities, the blue fire activity may not be available. In such circumstances, the tour will continue with the standard Ijen Crater hiking arrangement.
~ The itinerary above is flexible and may change depending on weather conditions, local regulations, road conditions, operational circumstances, and the physical condition of each participant.
