♦ After completing the Ijen Crater tour on the third day, continue to Banyuwangi Train Station and take an executive train toward Surabaya or Yogyakarta, depending on your selected destination. The shared tour service ends after the train transfer arrangement.

Trip Schedule
(3 Days 2 Nights)
Day 01: Bali – Gilimanuk – Ketapang – Probolinggo – Mount Bromo
♦ 11.00 – 13.00: The shared trip begins with pick-up from the designated meeting point around Sunset Road, Seminyak, Bali. The exact departure time depends on the operational arrangement and participant pick-up schedule.
♦ From Bali, travel together with other participants toward Gilimanuk Ferry Port, located at the western end of Bali Island. The journey generally takes around 3–5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions.
♦ From Gilimanuk, continue across the Bali Strait by public ferry toward Ketapang Ferry Port in Banyuwangi, East Java. The ferry crossing normally takes around 1.5 hours, although the actual duration may vary depending on operational and sea conditions.
♦ After arriving at Ketapang Ferry Port, meet the Java-side driver and continue toward the Probolinggo area. The journey may take approximately 5–6 hours, depending on traffic conditions and whether additional participants need to be picked up along the route.
♦ During the journey from Ketapang toward Probolinggo and Mount Bromo, there may be short stops at a local restaurant, fuel station, or other suitable public facilities for refreshments, meals, and toilet breaks.
♦ 23.00 – 24.00: Around midnight, continue from the Probolinggo area toward the Mount Bromo parking area. The drive normally takes around 1.5–2 hours.
♦ Upon arrival in the Bromo area, meet the local shared Jeep driver and prepare for the early-morning Bromo sunrise tour.
Day 02: Mount Bromo Sunrise – Bromo Crater – Banyuwangi
♦ 02.30 – 03.00: Meet the shared Jeep driver and begin the early-morning journey toward the designated sunrise viewpoint in the Mount Bromo area, located within the Tengger highland region.
♦ Arrive at the viewpoint and wait for the sunrise. When weather and visibility are favorable, you can enjoy the golden morning light over the volcanic landscape, with Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru forming part of the panoramic scenery.
♦ After sunrise and a short photo session, return to the Jeep and continue across the spectacular Sea of Sand, surrounded by volcanic hills and the slopes of Mount Bromo.
♦ From the Jeep parking area, continue toward the Mount Bromo crater area. You may choose to walk or ride a horse across the Sea of Sand toward the staircase leading to the crater area. Horse riding is optional and is not included in the tour price.
♦ Climb the staircase consisting of more than 250 steps to reach the upper area of Mount Bromo and enjoy the view of the crater, volcanic landscape, Sea of Sand, surrounding hills, and Mount Semeru in the distance.
♦ After exploring Mount Bromo, return to the parking area by the same route.
♦ 08.00 – 09.00: Continue to a local restaurant for breakfast. Breakfast is at your own expense.
♦ After breakfast, continue the journey toward Banyuwangi / Ijen area, with approximately 5–7 hours of driving depending on traffic and road conditions.
♦ Along the way, the route passes through rural areas, small towns, rice fields, plantations, and coastal landscapes. A stop at a local restaurant can be arranged along the way if you would like to have lunch, at your own expense.
♦ By afternoon or evening, arrive at your Banyuwangi / Ijen area accommodation and check in.
♦ Rest and prepare for the Ijen Crater night trekking, which will begin from your accommodation around midnight or in the early morning.
Day 03: Banyuwangi – Ijen Crater – Banyuwangi Train Station – Surabaya / Yogyakarta
♦ 00.30 – 01.00: The shared transportation will pick you up from your accommodation in the Ijen / Banyuwangi area. You will travel together with other participants joining the Ijen tour.
♦ From your accommodation, continue by vehicle for approximately 1 hour toward Paltuding Base Camp, the main starting point for the Ijen Crater trekking route.
♦ Around 02.00: Arrive at Paltuding and prepare for the Ijen Crater hike. The ascent toward the upper Ijen area generally takes approximately 2–2.5 hours, depending on walking pace and physical condition.
♦ Upon reaching the upper area, you may have the opportunity to observe the night sky and Milky Way if visibility is clear.
♦ If access is permitted by the Ijen authorities and weather and safety conditions are suitable, continue toward the designated crater area to observe the famous Ijen blue fire phenomenon.
♦ After the blue fire activity, return toward the upper area of Ijen to enjoy the sunrise and panoramic view of the turquoise-green sulfur lake and surrounding volcanic landscape.
♦ 06.00 – 10.00: Begin the descent through the same trekking route toward Paltuding Base Camp.
♦ After reaching Paltuding, continue by vehicle back to your accommodation in Banyuwangi for breakfast, shower, and a short rest before continuing to the train station.
♦ 10.00 – 10.30: Leave the accommodation and arrange an online taxi or local transfer toward Banyuwangi Train Station.
♦ Around 11.15: Take the scheduled executive train toward Surabaya or Yogyakarta, according to your selected destination.
♦ Your 3 Days 2 Nights shared Bromo Ijen tour from Bali ends after the train departure from Banyuwangi.

~ The first day involves a long and relatively tight travel schedule, as the journey begins in Bali and continues across the Bali Strait toward the Bromo area. This shared arrangement is designed for travelers who prioritize a more affordable way to visit Bromo and Ijen.
~ Ijen blue fire is not guaranteed. Access to the crater area depends on weather, safety conditions, volcanic activity, and permission from the local Ijen authorities. If night access is restricted, the Ijen tour will follow the available standard trekking arrangement without visiting the blue fire area.
~ If you are unable or not permitted to undertake the night trekking, the Ijen schedule may be adjusted according to the conditions at the time of the visit.
